My name is Rosie May. I'm 17 and a Singer/Songwriter. I grew up in Brighton and have a serious love for the seaside and the sun. Now, I live in North East London, and I love it. I spend many days roaming the streets, looking for inspiration in the depths of Shoreditch coffee shops.. and of course the old cliché park benches. The world really is a fascinating place, when you just watch. I have my own style, it's a mixture of motown/funk/ pop/ but its hard to put a name on it. I have a very eclectic music taste from Al green to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Amy Winehouse, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, Prince, Nouvelle Vague, Lauren Hill, the Kinks and so on. Its a real mix. I mainly grew up with a real influence in funk and soul.
